So taking a stroll through the lobby yesterday I see a rather large lorry come into our building and behold look what popped out, first and only McLaren MP4-12C pre-production car along with it's body structure.

Yeah I should have taken better pictures but got into a nice conversation with the female representative for McLaren.

Dual calipers on each disc and so much carbon fiber, this thing will blow the competition away imo.

A buddy sent me a pic from a few floors up, now I know what the heck I was looking at.

 

Very nice mate...Louis Hamilton drove one at Goodwood in 2010 and that motor was very impresive indeed! It's hard to be McLaren, you have to out do what you've done in the past...and they started with the McLaren F1 which is a hard act to follow...the SLR being next was good, but I think this one will trump it, will it ever reach the status of the original MC-F1 Longtail, only time will tell
