OK...so far I've heard three strong locations:

Snowshoe
Wisp
and the outlier...Killington in VT.

I guess we need to get some dates and locations decided. Let's start the list:

Juan - January @ Killington or Wisp.

Ok - so Wisp...

9 BR rental for the first weekend in January:
http://www.deepcreekresort.com/bre/p...unset-Delight/

$2950. Or $327 per person for the weekend. How's that look? Can we get 9 people to commit??

There are smaller properties too...5 BR...etc..

Wisp.... ..... if that's the only option then I'm game but I bet most people who haven't been to Snowshoe would be very happy if we went there instead.

I'll look at rentals there later on. Last post was just to get the $$ discussion started.

Snowshoe is the absolute best without driving to VT. Most definitely worth it and might even have some powder compared to the others where you will have a lot of ice.

They got that much snow already?! It's probably iced with the warming/thaw this week.

If it's groomed with a little powder, I 'may' be sick Thursday so I can go up there on Friday.

A good place for rentals is:

http://rentals.deepcreek.com/

A site from Railey Realty. We've used them for renting before.
