The lead investigator is off until Sunday. I know the US Park Police (they're responsible for the B/W Parkway, not County or State) has a small force, but I hope they give it to another detective to follow-up on ASAP.

And I pray to the lord this guy isn't a diplomatic attache or attached to an embassy. It's not unusual in this area, and they drive with a certain feeling of impunity because in most cases they cannot be searched, seized, or prosecuted. And if they are, they "close ranks" and skate out the country to be trialed (if this even takes place: See the Russian attache that ran over and killed a girl in G-Town about a decade ago) in their own country where the punishment is laughable.

So as I read this I cant believe the car.

I live right off Vandorn/495 and I had this guy totally provoke me one day. Revving up his car and jerking the car. I believe its a black seriers too. The windows are very dark, there is no way he doesnt get stopped on the regular, due to illegal tint. Ironically this day the car was going East bound, headed to MD.

I would put a group buy five guys burger purchase for the entire forum its the same jackass driver! Me sitting at (more than Benz)RWHP at the time, and about 2 cars on the road (5 lanes) I gave him 2 seconds of humility before I exited. Cops sit right at the 495 E&W/Vandorn exits daily (just east of the mixing bowl), so I knew better, but im glad I didnt bite, this guy is obviously retarded.

Update: Got a pleasant follow-up today.
The Benz involved in the accident has been located. It is now impounded.
The owner has been identified and questioned. That is all I know and all that could be shared with me at this point.

No idea. But whomever the driver was, whether it was the owner or not, they'll definitely want to seek the services of a good defense attorney.
