Sunir are you going to instruct at summit point fatt this year?

 

My goal this year is 4 events. Summit, VIR, NJMP and Watkins Glen. Would like to hit NJMP and WG since I have never been. If not, more VIR for sure. By far more professional than Summit. Don't get me wrong, I love Shenandoah, but once you go VIR........

 

Registration opens tomorrow evening 8pm est, I am game

 

Yea VIR is awesome.. Just a 4-5 hour drive from dc vs a 1 hour to summit...

I plan on doing VIR once, 3 autoX and 2 rallyX and maybe 3-4 fatt's at summit

 

I'm going to make the effort to hit the zone 2 event at VIR this year. Definitely hit NJMP with trackdaze, but thats a ways away. Hoping to branch out and try some other organizations this year, hope to see yall out there.

 

Have done a handful of VIR events with the Audi club and had a blast. This will be my first PCA event, looking forward to it.

 

Signed up for zone 2 tonight! Looking forward to it guys!

sweet, looks like there are few of us heading to VIR
I should get a list of name going so we can coordinate and leave/drive/follow eachother to the track. My buddy (who is not on this forum) and I are planning to leave Thursday afternoon from Springfield/Burke area. Let me know if you would be interested in joining/driving w/us.

 

Where are you guys staying? I plan on trying to stay in one of the pit lane suites with Ken.

 

Shahul - yes I plan on instructing at FATT events this year, when my work schedule permits.

Henry - the registraion folks and event committee with the chief stewards and CI do the instructor assignments and student pairings once registration closes I believe. I cannot request a student, however I think a student may request an instructor, I've seen this work sometimes.

I will either stay at the pit out above-garage suites or if there is enough interest to rent a house with some folks that's a choice also. Otherwise Best Western or sleep Inn are close and offer nice clean rooms and amenities.

 

Who's going to VIR this weekend? Anyone want to caravan down from DC area?

I was thinking of leaving around 1. Will be towing two cars so it will take longer then those driving their cars. If anyone wants to follow us feel free.

 

Unfortunately I will not have my race car down there as AT Speed did not garner enough interest to put 3 cars into their transporter this year.

I have not signed up yet, spoke with Henry this morning who has requested me as an instructor and talked to Manny aboiut it. As such I am planning on going for Fri and Saturday.

I am really bummed about not having my race car there, but I am always willing to help students and Zone 2.
