Maple lawn will invariably transform into breakfast at tubbys ... With a group of friends who weekly meet for breakfast, which it already kinda is. Most Cnc people are either in VA or Baltimore and points north... With HV as a viable option, it puts ML at risk....

ML won't die if we don't want it to. most people who could come out are still in winter mode. i can start getting more people to come out especially with warmer weather.

I doubt those in Silver Spring/MoCo/HoCo will want to travel to Katies or HV every week; I know I don't.

I think Sunir wants to kill off ML so he can get more beauty sleep lol

Thank Ken and Chris, I will let Kathy know.

In reference to the fate of ML, it is whatever WE make of it. The most important thing is that the core group stays together!

Agree...it's far too close to my spot not to at least roll up on Saturdays and have a cup of that great Ethiopian coffee. I'll keep coming. And I agree with Paul, both Katie's and HV are both just on the fringe of being too far to go every week.

I will stick with ml. Hunt valley is too far for me plus it seems more of a car show than a true c&c.

Guys c'mon don't be so idealistic and stunt the rose colored glasses. ML regional enthusiasts (those close enough to ML to call it their home cnc) are not too many in number...I mean just look at how the gathering is each week, the venue has a limited lot, nary a fresh face in the crowd, and the same cars each week...and the regulars there are a group of friends and that is the only thing keeping the the thing alson heck even the founder has only showed up a couple of times.

I am not saying ML will disappear for sure but I am saying it will change heck it's already changed, it will be more of a meet up for a small group of friends, maybe a launchpad to other day activity or meet/show, or a cruise, or breakfast at Tubby's or something like that. It's viability as a cars and coffee destination will change (rather deminish), with HV that will surely effect ML as a condender for CnC, again, not talking about the small group of friends, I am talking about attracting attendees, new cars, new faces...etc...etc...

I would love ML to thrive, but it has shown a decline as a cnc destiniation...now with HV here that will effect ML in my estimate... I am a realist guys...not hatin' just being real.

The prime directive of Hunt Valley Cars & Coffee is to provide a gathering point for the region's car enthusiast community. As a extension of Paul's post, its exciting to have options. The closer locations can be frequented while there can be an occasional trip to locations beyond the usual travels. Its about getting together with a diverse group of people that have a common thread in cars. Wherever it happens, simply be a part of it.

The definition has yet to be truly identified. The gatherings will speak for themselves and a definition may come. Advertisements began with the more exclusive manufacturers but, as with anything on the internet, the original listings were passed along to over 40 websites. Exclusivity transformed into inclusivity. Is it a 'true C&C'? I hope to say that Hunt Valley Cars & Coffee is in part traditional and part progressive but we'll all have a part in forming its future.

For those that are going to Agile Auto after HV, would you prefer highway or back roads? The back roads are mostly long country roads, not really a whole lot of twisties, and it might break up the group, but the drive might be slightly more fun than boring 695 to 95. I can post up both routes, if anyone's interested.

Only shine for me personally. If it's not raining, I'll be at the ML location at 7am for a prompt departure. Claude (GOJIRA) is rolling with me from ML too (but only if shine).

Likewise for me... Looks like Saturday so far is mostly cloudy with a 30% chance of rain...

I hope it doesnt rain, I really am looking forward to Saturday. It has been sunny all week, this is bs! ... Oh and as per Tonk's post above, I prefer highway over country roads...first off deer are out in the country in the mornings, second the group will get broken up and third hwy is cleaner/faster/better with a GT car.

Just watched the weather, scattered showers possible early, with chances diminishing as the morning progresses... I'm in showers or not. Should at least be clear for agile!

Same here. Worst case is we get some breakfast and sit inside Panera Bread or Chick-Fil-A.

But the car might get dirty if it gets wet.
