^^^ haha thanks Eric! Yeah man I try not to wear anything but sandles, flip flops, slides or whatever you want to call them whenever I can get away with it, especially when it's nice out! Ideal happy weather gear for me - sandals, shorts, polo shirt, backwards ball cap and a nice pair of shades....I'm set!

So what did you get since you sold your v8v?

You are forgeting your Panerai in your gear list dude

back to detailing..
I need to detail my car after dealer messed up my paint by washing it..have fine scratches, swirls etc all over the car.
Lets have a "Detail your own car" day one of these days and we can all help each other, hang out and enjoy detailing

haha Sid you're right! Speaking of Panerai, I was going to get mine polished, do you know a good local watch guy?

I agree on your detailing day idea. We need ample garage space and electrical outlet for the Porter Cable. Ideally a shop would be best. Maybe you can organize something? If you wanna bring a pro in for a tutorial, Dan1 told me may be up for doing another detailing clinic covering the basics for hobbyists. He'd charge a per head fee and go from there I believe....you'd need to PM him and talk to him about it.

Sunir, I wish I knew someone, I only go to local mall Lol not a high roller like you buddy ..
regarding detailing.. now who would like to offer garage big enough to accomodate all those cars? also keep in mind we need hose as well. We can all try to take turn as someone's house??

Bought my '11 C4S exactly a year ago. Dealer did a horrendous job detailing the car, end result some really nasty swirl marks and scratches.

Dan1 has been doing an amazing job taking care of the car ever since. By far the best detailer i've come across. Just does an amazing job.

I have a tentative appointment with Dan1 the 26th of this month, can't wait for the beast to be all detailed up!

Dan @ D&D Auto Detailing

I didn't know exactly what to expect after probably talking with 20 other people and companies about having my Mercedes- Benz detailed.

Then I finally spoke with Dan. After speaking with him I felt more than confidant that he was a professional and the type of person I was looking for to take care of my car.

Dan exceeded my expectations! He did top notch, excellent work and I feel relieved now knowing I have someone that will take great care of my car.

I could not agree more, Dan did a fantastic job on my car this past weekend! As others, it is hard to trust someone else with our prized possessions, but Dan truly made it easier for me to do so. I am just glad I found someone that can take care of this side of things since I am more of a function than "It Looks GOOD"!
