This year, Pat (aka Tuner1984) will be running the caravan from Northern VA.

Details are as follows:

Meeting Spot will be at Fair Oaks Mall at the following address:

12000 Fair Oaks Mall
Fairfax, VA 22033

The parking lot that will be used for the meeting spot is by Sears and Lord 'N Taylor (by lot number 22)

Meeting time 9am on Saturday, Sept 15, 2012. Departure time 10am sharp as he has coordinated with Jaycent to arrive between 11:00-11:30am. (Time Subject to Change).

**Last year we had over 87+ cars. We hope to achieve similar numbers this year, if not more.

I am in the Rockville/Gaithersburg area coming down 270 to 495. Assuming you guys will be coming along 495 to 95, will it be ok for me to lurk along 495 (most likely near 355), and jump in as you guys roll thru?

If so, perhaps a text or some other form of communication to signal when the caravan gets rolling.

The caravan leaves at 10 am, so assuming they are on time, estimate 20-25 minutes to get to 495 on the MD side. You could also wait on an off-ramp or on the shoulder - assuming you can find a safe place
