In the past Chris Cowan lead the group from Northern VA and on up thru 83N, This year I dunno what's going on...Greg and I are planning to meet at Hunt Valley and roll up, I don't know what the others on points South of Hunt Valley (VA crew and so forth) what they are planning to do...I think as the week unfolds we'll have some more solid plans...I would be open for one big caravan, kinda was what I was thinking this would happen like on the way up...

IF I go (still waiting on the weather), I'll most likely have a free seat in the Diablo. The only thing is, I'll be leaving from Katie's Cars&Coffee in Great Falls and returning directly via rte. 15 south to my home in just outside of Frederick, MD, so the passenger would have to work out his/her logistics from there. Oh, and my radio only plays Celine Dion......

looked at the route from last year, I think this year Hunt Valley is looking to be the meet up point instead of the Bob Evens... also last year there was a back roads group and a highway group that both convereged in York...this year looks like we are looking more at a large sigle highway caravan...

Chris Cowan or somebody from the VA scene chyme in buds, whose leading the caravan, or at least the NoVA to Maple Lawn then to Hunt Valley legs?

7AM we roll out of Tysons from the Starbucks parking lot.

8520 Suite D, Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA, 22103

Conveniently sandwiched between a gas station and a McDonald's on 7.
From 7west:
Turn onto Sping Hill Rd and take the first right directly after the gas station.
From 7east: Turn all up into that lot right after McDonald's and you'll see Ethan Allen. And cars. And me. And things.

Is it agreed that VA crew will come to Maple Lawn? If so, based on the departure time of 7 am, I'd say you guys would be at Maple Lawn around 8.

Better yet, I think we should do a rolling meetup. Someone from VA crew can call me about 10 minutes out and then we'll meet out on 29...followed by a call to Hunt Valley when we're near and we meet on 83....etc. Thoughts?

I think meeting @ ML would be better incase people want to top off on gas.... I'd probably be down a qtr tank by the time I got there....

ML is not a problem, but timing might become difficult for rolling. How many will be in your group at ML? We'll have a few plus those from the south. Perhaps we proclaim a 5-minute? Just thinking out loud.
