i put 7k miles on mine last year matt--mostly pleasure driving like you have planned with the occasional drive to work, morning coffee run or gym.

yes the attention factor is high--getting gas often turns into a 20 minute convo with a stranger or the occasional high schooler hanging out of a sunroof on I-95 to shoot some vid and if lucky-- a boob flash or two --but it's all good fun and come with the territory.

like juan so eloquently put it---just drive that thang!!

many happy (s)miles!!

glad u got it Matt... I know you were unsure and cautious, but I'm glad you went for it with my encouragement

Your car sounds sweet man. One thing about getting the Ferrari is once you have one, you'll always want one in your garage... so much fun... every drive even to the grocery store is fun. Next up, the track this Spring?

Challenge Stradale is the shiz-nitz. Def. on my must-own list. Prices VERY stable/up past couple years..... and so many wrecked over yrs supply is now def. finite. One meaningful litmus test for me = everyone I know who owned a Stradale and got rid of it (7-8 people or so).... pretty much without exception.... sorely laments that they ever did get rid of it. I've driven quite a number of them on st. and track and that is one car that just has "it".

I totally agree w you Cliff the CS is one of my all time FAVS! My only wish is that it had a gated maual shifter which I really love.

Yeah - I'd be in for a CS (if I could afford it!) but it'd be such an awful thing for me. I love driving these cars and the CS is at that point where you almost shouldn't for the reasons Cliff pointed out. It will be a collectors car IMO. I too would miss the gates...but I'm sure I'd get over it.

CS is such a rare and special car that I think you could still put 3 - 5 K per year on miles as long as it's original unrestored numbers matching it will still increase in collector car value. basically use for shows, special events, cruises, drives, and such...I would def want to put it on the track a couple of times though I am interested in it for sure. I would like to get the 3 options - stripe, radio, and fire extinguisher.

Oh snap!! Sunir's getting a Stradale.

You better get on the treadmill brother!!

That car is very power:weight tethered, and 10-12 lb.s = aprx. 1 HP (varies based on car's base power:weight ratio).... point being you get in a car like that and lose 10-20 lb.s (or throw your pig iron dead weight passenger out) it will make a big difference.

Plus the seats in those things are def. for the how should I say.... less gastronimically indulged. I'm guilty of a few extra too so no hate here. LOL

May god strike me dead I swear I'm not making this up..... these pics are maybe 8 mo.s old and abt. 3-4 weeks after these pics were taken this one was wrecked... TOTALED.... big time. And this car was one cherry-pie cream-puff beauty let me tell you.

Sunir - I know ur mighty obligatory responsibilities may necessitate picture delete for signage.... its all I had.

I know a couple half-local for sale now. One w/ salvage title, but descent fully properly rebuilt flood car. I'm telling you they really are starting to get rare rare rare. I'd say you could find a Scud to a Stradale 10:1... easy.
