So much hate for the GT-R from Porsche owners because it "drives itself" and lacks driver engagement because it only offers a DCT. I guess Porsche corporate doesn't agree....

damn that new GT3 is awesome... it's gonna be a raw visceral beast and RWD fun. Can't wait to see the RS version

 

Dissapointing it doesn't come in a 7 spd manual and dunno about the rear steer. The world is changing and things are becoming more like gtr, cars are becoming more vehicle ability over the driver's control and overall thrill and actual driving experience... and inducing so many management systems over what was once a purer driving experience. Times are changing.

Still think the new 991.1 GT3 looks great and is most likely going to post some excellent laptimes my guess is 1.5 - 2 secs faster than the outgoing 997.2 chassis. I am looking forward to driving the new version on track, hopefully will be able to try one out

 

The use of rear steer confuses me... hopefully it is a much more advanced design than the rear steering systems that everyone seemed to disable in older vehicles!

That said, it's gorgeous!!!!
