Quote: With all respect to you, it was not the least bit respectful behavior from the NSX crew. I love NSX cars, but the street was blocked off for Ferrari Club members' cars, and the NSX crew came in through the fence and parallel parked across from all of the Ferraris. None of the other enthusiasts who were there - and there were many - barged in with their cars or drove around gunning their engines and stereos.
Yes, that's quite messed up. Would not have been happy myself.

that the F-car event had the roads blocked off was enough to tell me to park my Aston elsewhere. i parked a block away in an excellent parking garage with zero clearance issues (my car is damn low so that matters). the event was very open and welcoming, lots of great cars on display. so why was there a need to crash the event with another group of cars? it doesn't matter what the cars were, its on the owners that decided to crash a party that wasn't theirs.

what was the point? why do it? what reaction did they hope to get from the F-car owners and everyone else at the event?

Didn't realize my camera was set to B&W. This is the first time I didn't have to photoshop any of my pics, yay.

This was a nice event, same as last year. LOL at the NSX guys crashing the party.

Anyone know if that vintage GTO was a replica or not? I didn't ask.

It's a replica, but probably the nicest one on the planet... Rebuild from another F-car chassis.

I drove an L-car to the event, and same thing.. Out of respect, I parked in a Garage and walked over. You could really tell the maturity level of the NSX guys when they were driving around beforehand. If the 250 GTO, Ferrari F-40, The BUILT Pantera, or any other number of cars running carbs or stupid amounts of HP can drive around without revving their engines all over the place, a few Fuel-injected Japanese V-6's can too. If not, you need to fire your tuner.

a few years ago, a group of them did a track event with the Ferrari club... one guy was smoking while at the lanes waiting to be let out by the marshall... then a few of them were going nuts on the turns... every time I passed turn 1, there was an NSX on the sand pit spun out... at least 4 times.. it was like they were newbs doing true racing.

I realize not all of them are like that, but come one.. they were going nuts out there, probably not being careful around Ferraris (not enough respect). Black flagged too.

It's not snobbery... it's shaking our heads for lack of common sense...

Again I'm sure not all are like that but there's enough of the bad apples to really give them all a bad name, and now this

Godzilla STOPS for NO MAN!!! ! Having been already thawed from the year before looks like the NSX contingent decided to buzz around and JDM Jam the Italian extravaganza !!!!

Oh and as for the GTO, it's definately a replica...nobody in their right mind would transport/drive a $35 - $40 Million dollar car to spring thaw, this is not pepple beach, Amerlia Island, or Cavalino. Plus a dead give away was 3 cutout vents on the fenders, left hand drive GTOs were made for consumers and had 2 slats. Racecars would vary based on the teams, but those are super rare.

You're not doing a very good job of moderating since you're playing the instigator of a Ferrari vs NSX owners argument. Plus Godzilla represents the GTR. Come on ... get it right.
