^^^ I intend to drive the Pcar...just to the restaurant for lunch. No interest in cruises anymore...too many varying skill levels and lots of risk....last year an out of control car slammed into the rear quarter of a guys Aston Martin v12v several cars ahead of me.
Don't need that drama in my life, sorry
If I want to drive I will take my race car to Summit Point or VIR or Watkins Glen, wear my HANS, and a Alpine Stars SFI rated suit and have at it. Having raced for several seasons and instructed at FATT, BSR, PCA, BMW CCA, FCA etc....event though there is some risk out on track with students or without, It's far more of a controlled environment than the street.
If I did go out on the twisties on the backroads and what have you, it would be either by myself in my car unadvertized, or with a few hand picked select folks a very small group maybe 3 - 5 cars whom I trusted driving very fast and very close to, again unadvertized.

Oh! Tower Oaks. You guys know that they've got their 1/2 price Oyster Happy Hour, right? You do have to have a seat in the bar area, but the front bar and back bar have plenty of booth seating. When you make your reservation, mention that you want to have a table in the bar for Oyster Happy Hour. On Sundays, 11am to 4pm, the raw bar menu is 50% off.

We won't be driving crazy, just a leisurely drive through the country a bit and back to Tower Oaks Lodge. Whatever you're comfortable. Just show up! No worries...
Reminder Notice about the Meet and Drive. It's just 1 week away now. I'm not sure how forecasters could know 7 days in advance what the weather will be, but this event is on RAIN OR SHINE! Looks like it may be dry that car at this point. This is what they're predicting...
