Carfest 2013 Car Show – Springfield VA - 1 June 2013
I belong to this legion and they are hosting a car show this coming weekend, just thought maybe some of you maybe interested.
Carfest 2013 – Springfield VA
Date: 1 June 2013
In conjunction with Springfield Days - Kay Jennings Toyota and The American Legion Post 176 is hosting a car show for Antiques, Classics, Street Rod, Muscle Cars, Customs and Exotics.
Registration is Free; Preregister at Post 176 or at the gate.
Show time is 10AM - 2 PM.
Show will be held in the Commuter parking lot next door to the Legion. The Legion is located at: 6520 Amherst Ave, Springfield, VA 22150. Phone number is: (703) 440-0335.
Dash plaques for the first 50 Cars Registered!
Free spectator parking and admission - restroom available.
The American Legion's Warrior Cafe' will be open to the public for food and beverages - you are also welcome to come early forBreakfast.
Four trophies awarded: Sponsors Choice; American LegionCommander's choice: Chamber of Commerce Choice and Best in Show (popular public vote).

It was very good to meet you and David; since I am part of the Legion and my Father was the one that put the show on, you can bet that there will change for the next show. More trophies next year, a real DJ and registration down next to the table and not screening cars just as they come in off the road - backing them up in the street.
This was their first car show and I think they learned from it. I knew the popular vote was going to go to an old car but I thought at least one of the trophies would go to a newer car, but next time I think that will change.
Oh I have attached a pic of my old cars engine bay that shows my poloishing and powder coating skills, please show David. And best of luck on that little issue you told me about, you encountered Friday night. The more I thought about it I think it was a WAG (Wild A** Guess) and you should be able to get it taken care of, with a little help.

Yeah, I thought for sure the Toyota one was going to Dave's TT-RS. The two salesmen were drooling over it. No complaints here though; still had a great time.
