Car is all waxed up and ready to roll in the am. Hope the weather holds out for my time.

 

the way I look at it is that we'll be inside the shop so worst case is that we just don't take outside shots...although your car is topless so that's an issue...bring a raincoat?

 

So after driving down in the Coop and hangin out it got beautiful out and no rain on the radar ... What does one do? Well I drove back to Bmore and picked up the cobra to drive back down to the shoot. Its warm out not a cloud in the sky. Got some gas and broke down on 295 10 mins later. Bad fuel or a clogged fuel filter. Car turned over but wouldnt start. Literally died while cruising at 60mph no warning just off. Really!!!! Then the clouds came waiting for the tow truck for over 2 hours. Its started to rain. Luckily I had put the car cover in the trunk ... abet it wasnt an outdoor waterproof cover it worked and keep the rain out. Then we shut down 295 southbound to load the car on the roll back. IF you were in that traffic ... sorry. Some lessons are learned the hard way ... story of my life.

So yes ... I brought a rain coat. So glad I waxed the car yesterday.

LamboLev - you live near Brambleton? If so I've seen you drive by a couple times. Couple weeks ago I passed you in the Benz with my 4 year old in the back. He heard you drive by (didn't see you), then screamed, Daddy "Lambo-Geenee"!!! Love my little man! Let's get a little Ashburn Car Meet going once in a while......
