Balt Grand Prix - Car Corrals/Parking
I remember waiting until after dark for the Ferrari/Lamborghini group to get out, and then when we hit the track it had cops, pedestrians, workers, and vehicles on it. What a total cluster**** that was. I truly hope it happens and is a lot smoother this year. Even a slow drive around it would be amazing.

The worst part was being their at 5am and getting pushed to the end of the day. After several hours of waiting, many people left, but I got in a good run
Tomorrow night, Tuesday at 12am midnight is the deadline to register for the BGP Exotics Car Corral.
We are on pace to have the best corral ever, so you don't want to miss out on a huge race weekend. Our hospitality tent is where it'll all happen:
* a 'home base' with catered food/drinks/snacks, tables, chairs, live band, and a place to rest and get out of the elements
* adult tastings provided by Central Liquors (many say THIS is the weekend highlight)
* free access to the ALMS & GT3 Cup paddock
* and yes, PARADE laps!! Don't you want to take your BMW around the only true street course in the US?
In addition, the entire Baltimore Inner Harbor will transform into a huge racing spectacle filled with tons of entertainment for you and the family. See the track map for more information.
TRACK MAP
Finally, if I haven't said it enough, this will be an awesome race weekend, even for those who are not into motorsports. And for car guys and hardcore racing fans, this will be a true Celebration of Accelleration!

Hello, National Capital Chapter BMW CCA Corral Attendees -
We're looking forward to welcoming you to the race next weekend. Please read this message carefully. It contains updated information about the NCC BMW CCA activities at the race.
Also, please refer to the NCC website – http://nccbmwcca.org -- and the associated BGP webpage links for general information about the corral and race weekend.
1. All the NCC BMW corral hospitality tent passes, parking passes and race tickets will be mailed out to you this year, hopefully by the end of this week. You should receive this mailing by Wednesday, Aug. 28 with everything you need for race weekend. If it does not arrive before race weekend, REMAIN CALM, we will still get you into the corral. Just send Kelsy an email so we can get reprints of all the items and hand them to you when you arrive.
2. You will need to hang around your neck and display the NCC BMW CORRAL pass throughout the day. The lanyard and ticket will need to be visible when you are inside the BGP fence line. Throughout the weekend, everyone that arrives at the NCC BMW Corral MUST have a corral ticket around their neck to enter the tent.
3. We will also be requiring a daily check-in at the tent so that everyone can sign the standard BMW CCA liability waiver and get a wristband for the day. Each days wristband is a different color. Please come by the NCC tent, sign the waiver and get your daily wristband.
4. The NCC BMW corral parking lot will be open Thursday evening after 8:00 pm. If you want to get a head start on the weekend, bring your car to the corral on Thursday evening and avoid the hassle of Friday morning traffic in downtown Baltimore. Please email Kelsy if you will be arriving on Thursday evening with your estimated time of arrival.
5. Cars will be able to enter the car corral parking lot at 7:00am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you are bringing your BMW, Mini, Rolls-Royce or BMW Motorcycle to park in the corral, you will need a NCC parking pass for each day you will be parking.
6. Cars can be left in the car corral paddock overnight, assuming they have the proper credential for the next day. If not, they must be out of the by 11:00pm on the previous night. If you plan to leave your car in the corral lot on Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday night, please move your car close to our tent at the end of the evening. There will be 24-hour security on the BGP car corral grounds.
7. The Car Corral Paddock, Lot C, is located between Camden Yards and M&T Bank Stadium. Directions to the corral parking lot are located at the end of this email message.
8. If you did not purchase parking but now think you need it, email Kelsy by this Friday, August 23rd. The Car Corral area is completely sold out. We will do our best to accommodate you, but no promises this late in the game. Also, if you know someone who needs race tickets or tent passes, email Kelsy ASAP.
9. There will be door prizes awarded to several lucky BMW National Capital Chapter Corral attendees throughout the race weekend. In order to be eligible to win a BMW NCC corral door prize, you must be an active, card-carrying BMW CCA member and you must be present to win at the prize drawing. (Note: Associate members are considered members and any BMW CCA chapter member is eligible.) I strongly encourage each NCC BMW corral attendee to be an active BMW CCA member. You can start or update your BMW CCA membership by going to the Club website (www.bmwcca.org) or by calling 1-800-878-9292. We will verify memberships prior to handing out door prize tickets.
10. The schedule for NCC corral events will be included in your ticket mailing. Race day event schedules are available on the BGP website at: http://www.grandprixofbaltimore.com/the-race/race-schedule .
NOTE: All times and activities are subject to change. Check the NCC corral hospitality tent for updated schedule and times.
11. Meals and refreshments:
-- All lunches will be set by noon each day and include great food and delicious side dishes. Additionally sodas, water & snacks are available at all times in the tent.
-- Daily coffee service and an assortment of bagels and danishes, starting at 7:00 am
-- Central Liquors has added some additional vendors to our adult beverage bar on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
12. Some chairs and tables will be available in the corral hospitality tent. If you want a guaranteed place to sit and relax in the corral area, throw a folding chair in your trunk and bring it with you to the corral.
13. Don't forget to pack earplugs, sunscreen, hats, comfortable shoes. We will have earplugs in the tent, but plan ahead and bring you own.
14. There will be a bag check in place this year for all race attendees. Please leave anything questionable at home or place it in your trunk. Don't try to bring lots of stuff into the Grandstands or General Admission areas.
15. We will have some items for sale at the corral throughout the weekend (Polo shirts @ $60 each, club store items, new/renewing membership, etc..) This year attendees can purchase items on-site with credit cards, checks or cash.
