Thanks for the recommendation Steve, but I've heard a lot of the opposite about him. Anyone else?

Please let me know who you go with. I'm getting one of these delivered next month.

I would love to come by and see what you installed.

Gunther, I also decided on a Greg Smith. Who did you go with for installation and delivery?

Mick, I'm going to do the install myself. I'm going to pay Greg Smith direct for the shipping. If I could ever get the county to do my last inspection I could move forward with the install of the lift. I wil keep you posted.

Any update from the OP???

If they are so slow with the quotes are you sure you want to business with them? Not a good way to start a business relationship in my experience.

My install will happen in late February when I have completed the rest of my new garage build. I will post pictures shortly.

This guy that installed our lifts years ago (Big Brian) retired last year, unfortunately. I do remember two pieces of advice: Buy lifts where the metal pins insert into the guide poles at least an inch, and don't just rest on a ledge; and you don't need to mount them to the floor if you don't want to. The one on the left is a Quality Lift, the one on the right is an AutoLifters (I think they closed). Just be careful every time, I know someone who dropped a car using his lift.

Brewer, nice stable!! I do not plan on mounting mine to the floor. It will have dollies built in so I can move it around in my 28x28 garage as needed.

It was partially my fault as well, I didn't follow up as I've been really busy. I'm not in a huge hurry, but I do have another estimate coming and will hopefully decide something by next week and have it done in the next few weeks. Will let you know who I go with and the results...

Big Brian is still around. Are you happy with the quality lift?
