Dulles Landing C & C, 05/28/17
Some friends asked me to come out to Dulles Landing today. I hadn't been there all year - it's a big, varied bunch of cars, but for some reason, not as interesting to me as some other venues. Many friends from other C & Cs were there.
Here's a look at some of what was there today, on their Memorial Day Weekend meet, with a military theme. The Hummer was all Star Wars-ized. The Army truck had two young kids in it, having a ball, crawling all over it. The 'Bugatti' was a VW bug-based kit car.
Tim, with his Torino.
There are strange parking rituals, with designated parking, for instance, for one particular color of BMW and another area for 'yellow cars'.
An Alfa 4C. Note the air filter replacing one of the headlights on the BMW. I assume this is on purpose.
2nd-to-last photo: Nice, huh? That's a Camry.
Last picture - not stock.
