If your MINI R50/R52 crankshaft pulley is rusted or overly worn, you may experience premature accessory belt wear, causing unexpected engine problems.
Your crank pulley must also be adequately balanced for it to sufficiently ameliorate engine pulsations for smooth power delivery.
