I'm Impressed!

My parents bought my sister a Minis "S" for graduation last week and she let me take it for a spin yesterday, wow was I pleasantly surprised.

I have owned several BMW's in the past and must say this thing drives and handles as nice as a 3 series coupe. The interior is much more exciting as well. I now know what people mean when they say "it feels like a go cart"

We have some new round abouts in our area and those are just a blast to take.

Job well done BMW!

Anyone here have the JCW? How does that compare to the "S"? They have one at the local BMW dealer for 43K, it has me thinking tis could be a great DD for me.

I have not personally driven a JCW car, but one of the members of the local Mini club has one. From what I understand, the extra $$ is well worth it. I love our '06 Cooper S, but the JCW has more engine/suspension/body mods that make it an even more aggressive car. I'm still impressed by our '06-S every time that my wife lets me drive it.

I have an 09 JCW, it's a fun car to drive. It's good to drive inside or outside towns as DD, but driving long distance would be painful.
