Factory Sport suspension option worth it?

It seems on the JCW models that checking off this option just only gets you upgraded sway bars (front and rear?). Now after doing some reading, I noticed a lot of owners are still upgrading the rear bar. So my question is should I just save the $500 from not opting to go with the sport suspension and just buy aftermarket sway bars? Can someone please confirm the shocks remain the same with or without the sport suspension option?

Thanks,

Eric

We have a Cooper-S but I'm not qualified to answer your question. I'd suggest going to www.northamericanmotoring.com , which is a dedicated Cooper site. Great information there.

In Australia the JCW comes standard with the sports suspension.
