A lot of money and detail has gone to build that car... I just recently got me a '97 1275cc cooper myself

Cheers for the comments
Not so much lots of money more like lots of time and effort as we did all the work between our group of mates rather than handing a project to a company

Stunning build. Easily one of the Top 5 builds I've seen documented on the web.

Congratulations on all of you and your mates hard work and an incredible piece of engineering.

badass build. I've got Pro-Motive 36 in a 1970 LHD. Most fun car I've ever owned.

What an amazing build. I think you and your buddies have OCD (thats a compliment), all the detail work is impeccable. What kind of offers are you getting? It must feel good to say its not for sale.

The fact that this was your grandfather makes it even more amazing.
