I just wanted a cheap, fun daily driver...and to duplicate a new MCS with the same mods would run me way over $30k

No, it is not a GP, it is a regular Cooper S with JCW package.

Can you give me some more info on those wheels?

Are they in fact BBS wheels or something else? Size? Cost? Source for purchasing? I agree in that they look great. I would love to see them with a grey center.

They are 18x7.5 ASA AR1 wheels available at Tire Rack. I believe they are being discontinued in that size though. I paid $910 for wheels and tires (Dunlop, not run flats) and that included shipping. I have the benefit of a wholesale account though, retail is higher.

Thank you for the info. I saw those wheels and like them. It appears that the ones initially pictured with the red centers are a different wheel. Perhaps ApparelMiami can confirm for us.
