The ones they use at the Bahrain-Mini Challenge are Coopers with JCW suspension and Recaro seats.

Correct but for the JCW Minis, a different seat is offered. The Recaro bucket seats are not really that convenient for a daily.

there have been two versions of the JCW that's ony available on the foreign/euro market due to side airbags being optional there and standard here.

The first was a skinned recaro, and the second sparco. Neither are available through any dealer in the US due to liability concerns, and for the few people who've gotten them over here the cost has been more expensive than buying a pair of leather recaros on these shores.

There was rumor that JCW was releasing a sport seat for 2006 with airbag, which is why I waited to buy my 2006 JCW car, however this didn't happen.

In birkastan, like 3 mins. from St. Eriksplan on Karlbergsvägen. I'll post up some pics once everything is installed and so.

Shouldn't be a problem. It'll probably require some custom fabbed brackets, but shouldn't be much more than that.

I can definitely recommend the Recaro's, if not the Pole Position then another of their seats.

What seats do you have? They actually have a OEM MINI Recaro seat wich retains the side airbag, look here:

Those Recaros are very nice. We definately don't have those in ours. I'll have to look into getting those.

Yeah, I'm not too big of a fan of their seats too. Good thing for cars that seats are easily interchangeable
