Personally, I think that a gray color is the way to go with a MCS. The red Cooper works car (look at the promo for the new cooper works) is pretty sharp as well.

decided to cancel on our order. the car is just too small as an extra car when we both have small cars! sort of sad since i have really grown to love this car.

What are you getting instead?
The new 3-series coupe is sort of in the mini price range (if you're dealing with a well-equiped MCS). Check it out. THe new MB c-class is out now as well.

i've become practical for the first time in my life. bought a acura RDX yesterday. small cross over suv with all the high tech stuff. i think it was a good decision. but the thought of having a mini will be missed!

Yeah, the Acura is much more of a practial car. The Mini isn't great when it comes to hauling things. I went on a weekend trip with my gf once and our stuff for one weekend filled the car up.

I have an 07 MCS Astro black all around. Hifi sound system and the Pano Roof. Love it, hardly any different from the sport suspension, if its just for daily driving, normal suspension in fine enough as it is. Its already a golf cart with AC and a sound system, what more can you ask for. I love the Turbo, its slightly faster than the SC. A little lag off the line... but when it kicks in, its enough to tickle you.

Yeah, it's not 993 territory, but it's still good. I think the old version of the S will continue to have a strong resale value since it's a bit more "hardcore" than the new S.
