What are the best forums & classifieds for finding a good mod'ed MCS?
I'd like to find an '04 or newer that has good track mod's, but is still streetable and can pass smog. Which are the best classifieds and forums for finding one?
Question about rollbars: Is there a rollbar that can bolt-in without destroying the interior? Otherwise, would it be hard to remove the rear seats, bolt in a rollbar for trackdays, and then reverse it after the track weekend? It's a great vehicle for utility as a DD, but I wouldn't want to give that up for trackday equipment that really only gets put to use a handful of times each year.
Thanks for your input.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. I've been looking around, and I'm sort of surprised there isn't a more cohesive mini community only with lots of activity. Seems like a car that would attract that. Maybe it's only been on the market for a short while (the modern one) and it takes time to ramp up to a robust community like Porsche, Corvette, marques that have had constant followings for decades.
It's a bit fragmented. The largest community is www.mini2.com which was started in the UK and has an international flavor. Lots of Americans and Aussies as well but different from NAM. There are actually a lot of modded car owners on NAM, the recent MINI get together in Las Vegas attracted about 400 cars, the majority I would say were not stock. The meet, AMVIV IV, was heavily promoted on NAM.
We have an 03 MCS that has been a track car in the past. Kind of a long story, PM any questions you have. The bottom line is that if you put in a full roll cage, then the air bags are blocked, rear seat access is blocked and it's not a quick in/out proposition. And yes you end up with holes in the carpet and rear plastic side panels, but not big ones.
