Mini Cooper S or VW R32?

imo everything stated above is correct. As far as tuning goes the mini has the upper hand cost wise, r32's def aren't cheap to mod. You also have to factor in wheither you prefer a manual to a dsg tranny, if you want a manual than you'd have to go with a mk4 r32, as all the mk5's are dsg. If your wanting a daily that your not going to tune than i'd go w/ the r32, as they hold their value incredibly well, when compared w/ the mini. In the end drive both and go w/ what works for you.
If he goes with the new R32 i would say take it DSG is freakin AMMMAZZZZINNNNGGG

Just teasing...I've driven a few DSG's, and while I can appreciate the technology and usefulness for a DD, it's just not my cup of tea.
