Hello all
Hello all
I. Finally , I have my baby. She a gorgeous 2000 C2 cab. Always wanted this car. I guess I fall a little on the purest side on porsches. That's why I wanted the 996. I believe it lends itself to be modded to improve without feeling to guilty. Look forward to learning everything I can about her. Planning to do all repairs myself, been working on VW, Audis all my life. Any advise is always appreciated and I will share my experiences in hopes to help others. Like 2 hrs ago i tried changing Trans oil and it took me 2 more hour to learn how to properly jack all four corners. Well any how, after all that i strip the 10mm Allen head fill plug. Decided...Stop what I'm doing. I'm just going to pull the Trans and replace rear main, ims, (clutch was just done) and have the Trans inspected. Anything else while I'm in there? Any advise or links will be very appreciated. Oh by the way I'm a powder coater in Portland and will always horse trade parts for work. Gotta throw that in there. We'll that's my story, i look forward in meeting you all.

Hey Jason!
Congrats on your 996 C2 Cab -- a very underrated car in the lineup, we see quite a few of them and the owners are all very fanatical about them, and rightfully so.
While you are in there you should seriously consider the LN Engineering IMS solutions, it's saved more than a few motors already.
Enjoy the car!
