Hello all and thank you for the warm welcome! Chuck.
I'm real new and will tell you just a little of my history, Dragnet version.
Have owned nothing but mostly foreign cars, 1st car VW Baja Bug,59 with the dead beat trans. Ever since then I have wanted a porsche! I've had Karma Ghias,VW Buses, BMW 320I, 2 Fiat POS 850 Spiders had to have 2 to keep one running. Ford Cortina, Alfa Romero sedan, just to name a few. I was recently into Off road and spent the past 8 years in Land Rovers, My other british POS,
Now I own a 2001 1 owner 911 C4,36,000 manual, Metallic Black, on Black. Since I purchased the car 3 mo. ago. I have done the following. New Wheels and Nitto tires all 19" , K&N Air Intake, Lowered H&R springs, Replaced stock radio with Kenwood Top of the line deck, Tinted and all blacked out. I have done my reading and I know I bought the slug of the Porsche line up. Put I have to tell you I love the car, for the money I spent this is one fun ride, but there are a few things I need to get taken care of. One is the pedals they are just not good for heal to tow DS, and I would like more horse as money allows, Exhaust system thinking of Fab Speed but going to keep reading the forum and see what is best and suggested by you pros on here. Ultimately this is going to be 1 of many porsche I'm going to own, Next one will be a 996 black turbo, then the ultimate of all the GT2 or 3 or RS, that is some time out with in the next 5 years or before I crock which ever comes first.
Well there's a tid bit and I know I can be long winded. But thank you for the time and look forward to meeting you at some event or other. And in advance Thank you. ! Also I'm in the market now for a track car as well, but I first have to go threw all the learning curves and get all the schooling done and learn from the ground up. If theres anyone looking for free labor on a track day or a Gofer let me know. I'm quick and will bust my *** for just about anything I have a passion for. Well Thank each of you who read this and be well. Kind Regards, Chris K.
