Thumbs up Old dude finally gets Porsche

Hello. I recently picked up a 2006 997. Have wanted my 911 since 1978 and now enjoying it quite alot with exception of needing to replace water pump. Have enjoyed reading all tech articles on this sight. I have a few to offer after working the WP issue. Cheers

Question Follow up

Thanks for note. I have read all threads on PP and found useful with exception of installing new coolant tank. Have lowered engine, disconnected proper hoses, lines etc. and still having difficulity getting new tank . Any suggestions

Sorry, just saw this. So what you need to do is remove the two screws that hold the bracket on and then remove the tank and bracket. Then, put the new tank into the bracket and then put them into the engine bay together and put the screws in. Let me know if you're still having issues.
