I was sure I would be getting my eighth Corvette in the spring since I now had a winter car. I had all the options figured out and would order it in January for March delivery. A few weeks ago a friend emailed me that her friend had a 2005 911 with 25k miles for sale. I had never paid much attention to Porsche(, used to be air-cooled, underpowered,overpriced, rear engine) but this sounded good.His wife wouldn't let him sell it but I found a better one online in Blauvelt NY. I had the seller take it to a nearby dealer for the PPI and it checked out great. I bought a one way plane ticket and drove it home last week. I love it.
