New guy here. Not currently a Porsche owner but I've been fishing in the Market Place for some time.

I've been looking at some low to moderate mileage 996TT and some 997.1 TT 6M still trying to find the right one. I have had a few slip away before I could get to them.

Currently I have an 03 Mustang Mach1 that puts 822hp to the ground with a TT setup and a Ranger that has 400 or so to the ground (Basically a mustang with a truck body).

Can't wait to get my 1st Porsche

Here is one I'm about to buy as long as PPI checks out. 02 just rolled to 40,011 miles. Has a small dent in the right rear quarter (pretty sure a good PDR guy can fix) also has spoiler failure light on, however it seems to work fine. Clean Carfax 3 owner, I will be the 4th. All stock except the GT3 clutch (1600 miles on it) $38000.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

 

Maybe start posting in the 996TT section, you'll get more replies.
When you test drive it, make sure you do a few wide open throttle pulls. If it's not flashed it should hold 0.7-0.8 bars of boost. If the boost is lower, higher, or bounces around when you do a wot pull, it might have a boost leak, no big deal, just something you can maybe use as bargaining leverage.
