Hi All. Bought a 2002 911 Carrera Cabriolet in August. She is Silver on Blue with a Blue soft top. Has 37K miles on now and everything works. She's a 6 speed manual. Everything works and I am having the time of my life. We had a nice fall here in NJ this year so I was able to really enjoy the new ride. 911's have been a lifelong passion and dream for me. I realize the 996 is not the most loved 911 but I smile each time I open the door to the garage and she's sitting there and she's MINE! This is my 2nd go round with Porsche. We had a 1986 944 Turbo in Guards Red on black. Bought it with 75000 miles on and kept it 9 years. Sold it for what I paid so maintenance and registration is all it cost for 9 years. Hopefully I will have a similar experience with this one. I am hungry for information and hope to be a participating member here.
