Mid-engine Enthusiast Saying Hi to all

Hello all.... I'm a fan of all cars mid-engine and I've just bought a 2010 Cayman S. I've been looking for a modern replacement for my 1976 Lancia Scorpion, and the Cayman is really the only car that fits my desires for a newer car.

My '76 Lancia.

Previously I've owned two different Lancia cars. I always enjoyed the camaraderie that went along with Lancia driving ... and repairs of course
Always intrigued by Porsche and their tradition of making highly successful prototype and GT racing cars. I instantly fell in love with the 911 GT1 and the 906. More recently I've come to appreciate what the 911 GT3 is via my RC hobby.

As I've said, I'm a quite capable mechanic and have previously worked for VW, an independent german car shop, and a sportscar specialist (mostly Alfa Romeo). And anyone who has owned a Lancia knows you have to repair it.

My 2010 Cayman S.
Hey look a towel holder, how convenient for cleaning your car!
My first Porsche. Unfortunately, it only does about 52 mph.
My second Porsche. Custom built to be rear-engine unlike the kits are designed. Tops out at 35mph.
Cheers.
