Car enthusiast for all of my life, now retired, and finally got around to buying my first Porsche....as well as joining the local PCA chapter (Smokey Mtn). Started early with muscle cars, moved to BMW M cars, Audi turbos, and dabbled in Asian imports (AWD turbo varieties). Current stable is an Audi S4 (daily), Focus RS (mtn car...great backroad driver), and now a 2007 997 turbo, 6spd. It is a recent purchase, so I'm on a rather steep learning curve...but love the process. Next step is rolling up my sleeves and doing some minor services to learn the "ins and outs" of Porsche ownership and my way around the car. Looking frwd to the PCA activities this spring.
