New member from SC. MINI cooper problem


What is going on here? Can i replace the coil packs and be fine? I put the spark plug back in and it shot out when i started it. Threads were fine on the pkug before i put it back in. Now i dont know where it is because ot shot out. HELP!!!

Some more information would be helpful. Does the spark plug screw into the head and tighten or are the threads in the head stripped out? The only way the spark plug will shoot out during cranking is if it wasn't actually screwed in or the threads in the cylinder head are gone.

If you did strip the threads out of the head, sometimes they can be re-threaded or repaired with a helicoil, but that should probably be left to someone skilled in doing the repair.
