I'm the owner of a 2008 911 Turbo Cabriolet manual transmission with 24000 miles. The problem is I'm thinking of trading it on a 2012 4S coupe automatic with 20000 miles. I am NOT a racer. Any thoughts? Undecided! Thanks

Do you require a newer more updated vehicle? Certainly the turbowill be more fun to drive. But if you need all wheel drive then the swap may be better? I am afraid only you can make that decision. Good luck and it’s a good problem to have! Haha.

I can't speak from personal experience, but based on research I've conducted I think you would like the updates on the 991. You may miss the extra torque of the turbo, but if you're not driving it hard, the comfort afforded by the suspension and chassis on 2012 is a big step up. Is the transmission the auto or PDK?

Best bet is go drive it and see for yourself.
