A different Hello.
A different Hello.
Hi everyone,
I'm not your typical member, I don't own a Porsche, can't afford the Aston Martin I WOULD like, not much else has a manual gearbox, and the ones that do, well...eh.
But, I have a knack for welding, fabrication, and building fun cars. But my true passion revolves (pun intended) around rotaries.
Having had my fair share of 2nd Generation RX7 Turbos, I've built plenty of engines, and actually have 2 on the docket this month.
My personal project is a 1974 Mazda Rotary Engine Pick Up (REPU), going with a Pro-Touring style build, so RX8 Front and Rear suspension subframes, Ford 8.8 diff, and a Getrag 6 speed, all behind a 4 rotor engine.
I will share as I build. Hopefully you all can share some track day build tips and tricks.
Thanks guys and girls!
