'99 996 Carrera 4 New owner
Hi everyone,
after having been a longtime BMW owner and enthusiast, I took the plunge and moved to the next level: I bought a 996 yesterday. I know nothing about Porsches and I'm worried that I may have been a bit too ambitious. The car is absolutely gorgeous. Body and interior are very clean. However, I'm concerned because the previous owner installed a supercharger and I'm wondering if it can negatively impact the engine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum. I can't offer any advice or information on superchargers. I assume it partly depends if an expert and not a back yard mechanic installed it. You might want to hunt down a qualified mechanic in your area to give it a once over.
