To be honest, I came here for the classifieds. That said, I lurked back in 2010 when I came really close to buying a 2004 GT3. At the time I probably could have made it work and now the prices are even higher.... nuts! And don't tase me, I went with a 2004 Z06 for half the price.

Anywho, finally got into the game with a 986. Its going to be a fun car for us. Maybe not the GT3 I always wanted but its a step in the right direction. And turning the wife into a Porsche-Head now increases the chances of another car down the road.

So why am I here? Wife said the 986 base wheels (17") make the car look too old. So I am looking for newer wheels which is awesome, right!?! Just wasn't planning to spend money on "looks" yet. I want to build up a maintenance fund for the car and get all the basics done.

I do plan to read and learn here since I joined. Probably gawk at the prices of newer Porsche/Ferrari parts. And of course wait for a 2004 GT3 to come up for sale and then not buy it.
