Question New member interested in discount expectations

New member here. I live in Seattle and own a VW 2015 GTI and a 2000 BMW M Roadster.

I'm planning on selling the Roadster when I get the 992. I'm currently planning on the S as I want a manual, but would be willing to wait if the base model has a manual coming (watching the rumors). What kind of discounting (if any) should I expect if I place a custom order? Seeing mixed reports from nothing (why would they waste and allocation....) to 5-7%. Some of the posts I've seen stating zero discount are from dealers or are over a year old; presumably when demand was at a peak.

Advice on discount potential greatly appreciated!
