Hi everybody! I'm Rob Pellegrino and am new to the exotic/luxury car scene. I recently had the opportunity to purchase my absolute dream car, a 2010 Aston Martin DBS Volante and stumbled onto this forum while searching for maintenance procedures and workshop manuals. Considering how well organized the FAQ Sticky was for Aston Martins I figured I would join up and hopefully add my experience. I also currently have a 2012 Mustang GT (A car I wanted since I was 12) that I autocross and track (and daily when its nice) and a Ford F-350 for daily use (Yes my garage looks like a 5 year old picked it --- I'm proud of that actually).
I hope to learn a lot from the members here an eventually add to the knowledge base. I tend to do most of my own work on my vehicles, usually in my driveway or renting a lift from a friend of mine so I have my own fair share of broken bolt stories. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself. In the meanwhile, I will go back to trying to figure out if the DBS has a dry sump oil system. I know the DB9 is a wet sump...
Welcome! I'm a new member myself, and I really love all 3 of your vehicles. Must be awesome having to choose which one to take everyday! How did you get the chance to buy the Aston? Just curious!

Some days it is a fun choice... the Aston Martin happened to be a "right place right time" opportunity while I was searching facebook marketplace while in Florida. I thought it was a scam at first because of the price but it wound up being legit and I pulled the trigger. My wife knew it was the dream car so she did not try and stop me.
