I'm new to Aston Martin ownership having just purchased a 2004 DB9, but a long-time car guy from Los Angeles. Current projects include a couple early 911's, a Pantera, and a BMW 2002...actually the Aston is the newest car I own and intend to drive it often.
The new to me DB9 is in pretty nice shape, but has deferred maintenance needs of course...right now I am trying to sort out the suspension and replace some worn front struts. Hopefully, I can get some good leads here on quality aftermarket units or a rebuilding source, as there is no way I can bring myself to pay the dealer 10K for the springs/struts units. Seems like my go-to shock company Bilstein isn't being helpful either. I've found some older forum posts and may reach out once I get the ability to PM guys who have been there, done that.
