Hey everyone! My name is Matt and I just picked up a 2008 Vantage roadster about a month ago with just shy of 30k miles. One of the main reasons I loved the vantage was it seemed relatively easy to work on and I plan to do some small tweaks with keeping the OEM look, although I'm a pretty novice mechanic.

Looking to connect with any other folks in the area (Westside / Santa Monica) and trade tips on the cars, any recommendations on Independent shops for "the big stuff" (i.e. clutch), etc. I'd also love to know if anyone has a good place for the inevitable dash or convertible top headliner restoration.
Hey Matt! Where are you on the westside? I'm in Santa Monica as well (Ocean Park area) I rarely drive my 08 coupe (tempest blue, phantom grey interior) but I keep swearing I'm going to change that and drive it more, Also have plans to keep messing with it around tune and getting the small details right!
Yea we’re practically neighbors then. I hope the reason you don’t get to drive the vantage is you have other cars to keep you busy… I do the occasional canyon run and cars and coffee. PM me if interested.

Sadly it just means I work a lot, I do have a few other cards (too many if you ask my wife) but on most days if I am driving you'll find me in my 06 Tacoma probably headed to or coming back from Home Depot haha, will shoot you a PM!
