Hello, I recently acquired a 2001 996 C4 from original owner. Cars is in excellent condition. However, realized an issue with DRL’s. Reading online I discovered that the dual relay appeared defective and common cause was cold solder joints on the printed circuit board. Opened and redid solder. Now the problem is that as soon as I start the ignition, all lights come on and headlight switch is off. Only dash lights are off and come on when turn light switch to right. Front and rear fog lights work normally. Appreciate any tips.
