Soooo....Looking for some insight into the OTHER side of the world's sports cars in the coming months/years....how so?
We just bought a PRISTINE 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe 3 weeks ago and already making it 'ours'. I'm used to US/Japanese performance, having had Honda's and Acura's, and raced them, for decades! So now it's Europes turn to take my money....and let me tell you, it's shockingly MORE than what i'm used to, even for just routine maintenance! LOL. Should've just picked up an old NSX!
Had the plugs, brake fluid and a once over done by the local Porsche dealer...everything checked out A OK, but it does need all of the maintenance up to date over the next few years for sure.
But anyway...already swapped out the Factory radio (BOSE) for a JVC touch screen, super nice and makes the speakers sound amazing as I had hoped....vs horrid with the factory unit! Adding a set of 7mm and 10mm spacers and Acer Racing titanium lug bolts. Tinted the 2 front windows to match the rears and ceramic coated the near perfect almost 20 year old paint last week.
Next up: Bilstein suspension upgrade and some sweet sounding exhaust for it...although that Porsche 6 sounds pretty sick as it is!
