Hi everyone. After 55 years of motoring, and 15 cars (I think) I've made the jump from a 5.0 Jaguar XK to a 2013 Panamera 3.0 D.
So, first diesel, too. The XK is a gorgeous car to drive, but the limited boot space was irritating and, now, we've become dog owners again and getting him in and out of the rear seat etc has been a real strain on my back and hands.
So the Panamera is slower than almost all cars I've owned in the last 20 years, but better on fuel and lower VED. I've done some time on track, and the roads are too crowded today (other vehicles with dashcams, speed cameras) to drive the way I did when I was younger. So I'm hoping I won't miss the acceleration or the sound of a V8 too much.
It's a little bit non-standard, so I'll post some details and photos after I collect it on Saturday.
EDIT
It wasn't ready on Saturday, as the MoT revealed it needed new rear disks & pads. So it came yesterday. Only then did I realise it had been lowered to the point where it scraped over the lip joining road to driveway. Rough estimate £2k to retro fit standard springs Anyway, photos:

Reason: updated info about car
Thanks, Benny. At first I thought it was a rare colour, but my wife says she's seen an identical pan in the village and I've seen other makes in the same shade.
