New to Porsche and the Panamera

Just bought a 2010 Panamera S. The car is in need of the timing chain and guides. The issue was already confirmed by Boise Porsche. The previous owner had already purchased the parts and a few extra consumables. He decided it was too much time and effort with his very busy schedule so he sold it to me.
I've always wanted to experience a Porsche. Given their history and beautiful cars I couldn't resist. It currently isn't running. It could run but the previous owner said that as a precaution it should be repaired before running at any speed above idle.

My first impression was that the car was very well built and had nice materials throughout. The components that I was able to inspect looked extremely well built and very orderly. I'll have more to inspect once it's sorted. Right now it seems like a gamble but given the inspection by Porsche and the reports from the previous owner it was worth a try.

Loking forward to learning more about the brand and this car.

Jeff
