New Cayman owner from North Carolina
I just bought a 2006 Cayman S. It is Midnight Blue with a tan interior.
I just read on another site how to get rid of the sticky buttons on the radio and other buttons.
The guidance was to use Noxzema Make Up remover wipes. I haven't tried this yet, but the video was impressive.
They showed the goo come off and the button were like new again.
MY question relates to the interior of my 987 2006 Cayman with a tan interior.
The car has numerous chips scrapes and scratches in the hard plastic surfaces in the car.
The black shows through where these wear scratches have occurred.
It there any secret to correcting these issues?
My thought is to find a paint that exactly matches the interior of my car.
If it isn't made by anybody I have heard that you can take a piece of the car to LOWES and they
can use their color analyzer to formulate the exact color.
If that works, would you use a latex interior paint or an exterior latex paint or go with an oil base paint.
If there is a better plan that has worked for anyone please share as I want to make the interior look as new
as possible.
Thanks Turbogator NC
