It's winter 1971 in Athens, Greece. I am almost 4 years old. My grandfather and my mother take me to the city square the day before a race where various race cars are on parade in the streets. The sounds, the smells and that flat, low, wide car is forever burned into my memory. Fast forward to 1977 I lay eyes on a 930, then in the 80's the 930S Flachbau! Holy Cow! My love affair with the 911 just keeps getting deeper. When the 1989 930 5-speed was (dare I say) somewhat affordable, my wife and I were busy raising two sets of twins. Now they're all out of school, Last month, I fulfilled a 55-year-old dream! I purchased a 2008 Turbo Cabriolet, midnight blue with natural brown interior with 30,870 miles.
