Definitely.. and I suspect that a lot of people wouldn't even know what a Skyline is if not for the game series. It appears the Japanese are controlling our minds through video games! lol.. Southpark

The number one reason the Skyline is so popular is because its a very good performance GT sports car(boot,4seats,alot of techno yes, but reliable)its not Beautiful or Gorgeous car, its a Performance car.if you want beauty something like an ASTON MARTIN DB9,very simple.

As for Grand Turismo,you wouldn't know anything about that game unless Chevy Camaro,Pontiac Firebird,Pontiac GTO,Dodge Viper and the Shelby Cobra (German born fellow,i only knew about the Ford GT,Mustang,Corvette) until having played that Game. So the whole Skyline=PS Grand Tourismo is banana's,that game increased awareness of ALL car brands,it just depends what part of the world your from.

 

Not sure about it being developed with Gran Turismo fans but it definitely increased awareness about the Skyline in N America. And that may be true about all car brands depending on where you are from, agreed.
